You are dressed in your best clothes, crowned with your best shoes. You look into the mirror and instead of the usual person, it’s an almost transformed you looking back at you. You smile -even your teeth seem extremely white- , you feel on top of the world as you step out of your house with your facecap in hand, Prince charming should be your new name because that Babe you’ve been ‘eyeing’, she’s gonna fall drastically in love with you, love without remedy and only then would you begin to show signs of having a proud heart..You walk all the way to the church gate, you check yourself out again, you smile and say; “oh boy! You too fresh oh”. You walk into the church and suddenly a the moral you have ever gathered in your whole life flies out of the window. You are very scared, you feel now like your shoes are outdated, Femi’s shoes look newer, the very latest supra sneakers and yours? Oh trainers, the very normal everyone’s trainers. you begin to walk dejectedly to your seat. 

As you sit, you turn to the left, your crush is laughing with Ifeyinwa, the guy’s shirt looks very expensive, something you can almost not afford, that Babe would never look your side. You bring out your blackberry bold 2 and begin to scroll through, you do not hear the Sunday school teacher say; “ah! You feel Lost, INFERIOR!! 

The following day, you dress up and your mirror celebrates you, you go out and repeat same thing that happened the day before. Never feel less than what you should….​
